The 10th Annual Zoo Run Run will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012

This 5K run/walk travels through the historic Columbian Park Neighborhood and offers a fun, inexpensive way to get your family up and moving! Enjoy a great pancake breakfast sponsored by Bison Financial, and mingle with zoo staff and some of your favorite zoo residents!

Friends of Columbian Park Zoo is committed to securing sufficient funding in order to ensure the quality of life of Zoo animals through education and conservation and to create, promote and maintain awareness of the Zoo for all in the Greater Lafayette Area.

Vision Statement

Friends of Columbian Park Zoo is dedicated to improving the quality of the Zoo experience for people of Greater Lafayette by improving the Zoo collection and staff through financial, education, promotional and conservation support.

Goals and Objectives

Friends of Columbian Park Zoo's main goal is to support the implementation of all aspects of the Master Plan, which will enhance the overall zoo experience for the Greater Lafayette Community. Their main objective is to provide the Zoo with a long term commitment of funding to supplement existing monies for educational and outreach programs, special exhibits, interactive children's experiences and animal habitats.
